Abstract:The method of mechanical activation and adding alkaline additives were used to grind potassium feldspar and potassium feldspar particle size distribution,specific surface area,surface roughness,particle morphology and their relationship were studied.The particle size and surface area were determined by laser particle size analyzer and BET method,and the surface roughness was calculated to quantitatively characterize the particle characteristics.The relationship between surface area and particle size during mechanical activation and the influence of different alkaline additives on the characteristics of potassium feldspar powder were analyzed.The process,controlling factors and influencing mechanism of enhancing the activity of potassium feldspar particles were studied.The results show that the specific surface area and roughness of potassium feldspar can be improved by both dry and wet grinding processing,but the wet processing is more efficient to improve the specific surface area and roughness,and the addition of alkaline additives and salts can reduce the specific surface area and roughness.
