China Powder Science and Technology is an academic journal governed by China Building Materials Federation and jointly sponsored by University of Jinan and Chinese Society of Particuology. The journal was first launched in 1994 under the name Powder Technology and was officially renamed as China Powder Science and Technology in 1999.

Aims & Scope

As the only professional academic journal in the field of powder science and technology in China, this journal focuses on fundamental and applied research in powder processing, involving crushing, classification, mixing, modification, granulation, drying, sintering, fluidization, atomization, aerosols, transportation, storage, dust explosions, and powder properties. The journal covers various fields related to powder, including building materials, chemical engineering, petroleum, environmental protection, meteorology, national defense, metallurgy, coal, food, medicine, textiles, electromechanics, geology, agriculture, and more. The main readership includes researchers, technical professionals, and faculty and students in universities and colleges in the field of powder science and technology.

Indexing & Awards

China Powder Science and Technology is indexed in the Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD) of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and World Journal Clout Index (WJCI) Reports for Scientific & Technological Periodicals. It has been selected as a Key Magazine of China Technology by the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China, and a Chinese Core Academic Journal by Research Center for Chinese Science Evaluation (RCCSE) of Wuhan University. In addition, it has been included in the American Chemical Abstracts (CA) database, and the database of Japan Science & Technology Agency (JST)，European Academic Publishing Centre database（EuroPub).
