Properties of filter media based on ultra-low emission of converter primary flue gas

Abstract: Aiming at the problem of primary flue gas purification of converter, nine kinds of bag filter materials were selected to explore and analyze the performance differences among filter materials by testing their physical and chemical properties.The results show that the longitudinal breaking strength of 1 751.3 N of glass fiber coated filter material is the best, and the zonal breaking strength of 1 642.6 N of flumex uncoated filter material is the best.PTFE filter material has good acid and alkali resistance with warp and weft fracture strength retention rate ≥97%.The temperature resistance of flumeisi filter material and P84 filter material is good that the retention rate of breaking strength is ≥100%, and the thermal dimensional stability is ≤1.5%.The pore diameter ≤2.76 μm accounted for 81.52% of the aramid membrane filter material, the filtration efficiency of fine particles capture from 0.25 μm to 3.00 μm is more than 80%, and the filtration resistance increase significantly after membrane treatment.PTFE emulsion impregnated filter material has the highest water-repellent grade of 5.After membrane treatment, the filter material has a certain degree of improvement of acid and alkali resistance, filtration efficiency and water repellent grade.
