Abstract: MgCl2·6H2O was used as raw material and Na2CO3 as precipitator,the nesquehonite crystals were prepared by co-precipitation method. The influence of reactant concentration, reaction temperature, reaction time and aging time on the phase composition and morphology of the product were investigated and its growth mechanism was explored. The results show that when reaction condition that the MgCl2 is 0.3 mol/L,the reaction temperature is 50 ℃,the reaction time is 15 min,thereaction temperature is 50 ℃, and the aging time is 0.5 h, the nesquehonite crystals with average diameter of 5 μm are obtained, and MgCO3·3H2O crystals growth accords with liquid-liquid-solid growth mechanism.
