Abstract: Elevator in cement industry has problems of corrosion, abrasion and accumulation in hopper when conveying materials, affect the efficiency seriously .The liner made of UHMW-PE material can solve the above problems after it is applied to the hopper. By analyzing the properties of UHMW-PE, it is found that its wear resistance, corrosion resistance and demoulding performance are excellent. The practice shows that the application of this material can increase the efficiency of the elevator by 37%, lengthen the service life of the hopper to 4 years,andthe maintenance cost is reduced by 75%.This material has been used in the actual production of Zhonglian cement in Qingzhou, it makes the cement production process more safe, stable and efficient, saves tens of thousands of yuan of material cost every year, and has broad application prospects.
