Abstract: In order to explore the cleaning performance of long metal filter bag,a pulse injection platform was built to study the optimum design and the pressure distribution under different pulse-jet conditions, taking thelong metal filter bagwith the diameter of 160 mm and length of 6 m as examples. The experimental results show that when the pulse pressure is 0.4 MPa, the optimum nozzle is 16 mm and the optimum jetdistance is 200 mm for the long metal filter bag. Under this condition, the pressure values of P3, P4, and P5 in the middle part of the metal filter bag are 0.87, 0.75 and 0.77 kPa, respectively, and all greater than 300 Pa, meeting the requirements of effective cleaning. The pressure peaks of the metal filter bag show a variation trend of upper part>bottom part>middle part.
