Abstract: According to the principle of screening, a waste aluminum classifying and sorting machine was designed. On the basis of simulation analysis by discretization software EDEM, the effects of rotating speed of drum screen and inclination angle of circular hole screen on classification rate and classification time of waste aluminum were verified by experiments to determine the optimal technological parameters . The results show that when the rotating speed of drum screen is 25 r/min and the inclination angle of round hole screen is 6°, the classification rate of waste aluminum can reach 96.7%, and the shortest classification time is 48 s.
