Abstract: In order to solve the problem of uneven cleaning on the upper part of the flat cartridge filter, this paper used a pressure sensor to measure the peak pressure of six poins that the distances from the top of this filter is 100、 500、 900 mm, aiming at the filter with length of 470 mm, width of 64 mm and height of 1 000 mm.Among them, the measuring points 4, 5, and 6 were opposite the nozzles, and 1, 2, and 3 were non-opposite the nozzles. The effects of two kinds of nozzles on the pressure peaks under different pulse pressures (0.3, 0.4 MPa) and jet distances (10, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100 mm) were studied. The results show that when the pulse pressure is 0.3, 0.4 MPa, the optimum jet distance under the circular nozzle is 20 mm, but the pressure distribution on the flat filter is extremely uneven, the peak pressure between the upper measuring points P1 and P4 exceeds 1 000 Pa, and this degree of unevenness increases as the pulse pressure increases. Under the same conditions, the optimal jet distance of the slot-type nozzle is 20-40 mm, and the peak pressure between the upper measuring points P1 and P4 is within 400 Pa, which effectively improves the problem of uneven cleaning of the upper part of the flat filter cylinder.
