Abstract: The DEM method is applied to conduct numerical simulation of variable amplitude equal thickness screening process, the influence of parameters such as excitation frequency, amplitude difference and feeding speed on the screening performance of variable amplitude and equal thickness is analyzed. The results show that the variable amplitude equal thickness screening has obvious advantages than amplitude screening. When the excitation frequency is 16 Hz, the amplitude difference is 0.2 mm, and the feeding speed is 0.5 kg/s, the variable amplitude equal thickness screening shows the best performance, the screening efficiency is 83.72%.
