Abstract: In order to systematically study the temperature regulation rules and control of the modified cavity, an automatic temperature measurement and control system was built on SLG-200 type powder surface modification machine to realize automatic monitoring of the temperature of the modified cavity and computer control of the opening of the air/material valve. The static model and transfer function model with air/material valve opening as input variable and modified cavity temperature as output variable were established. And the influence rule of air/material valve opening of the modifier on temperature under no-load operation condition was explored. The experimental results show that the adjusting effect of the air/material valve opening on the modified temperature is nonlinear under the condition of no-load operation. The effective adjusting range of the air valve opening is 20%~80%. The adjusting effect of the air valve on the temperature is more significant than that of the material valve. The gain of the transfer function first increases and then decreases. The characteristic time constant first decreases and then increases when the air valve opening increases from small to large.
