Abstract: The influence of electrophoretic electric field in Zeta potential measurement is theoretically analyzed, and the electric field simulation experiment was carried out on the mainstream U-type sample cell. It was found that the distribution of electric field intensity at the bottom is not uniform. In order to improve its accuracy and precision, the left arm and right arm of the sample cell were defined as the experimental measurement area. In the experiment, the range of electrophoresis voltage was increased from 20 V to 60 V. The results show that when the measurement point is selected in the left arm and right arm in the U-type sample cell, the Doppler shifts increase linearly. And the linear correlation coefficient R2 are all more than 0.99 in different electrophoresis voltage, higher than that at the bottom.
