Abstract:This paper reviews the development of cesium halide perovskite,including cesium lead halide perovskite and lead-free halogenated perovskite. Cesium lead halide perovskite has been attracted much attention in the fields of solar cells, LED, lasers and photodetectors due to its excellent fluorescence property and photoelectric conversion properties. However, the severe toxicity of lead and its accumulative nature in the human body can be a great hindrance to practical applications of cesium lead halide perovskite. Recently, lead-free halide perovskites, which use Sn, Bi, Ag and other metals as replacements for Pb, have been pursued as potential solutions for the toxicity and stability issues. But there are currently problems with poor fluorescence performance and photoelectric conversion performance. It is considered that the application prospect of lead-free halide perovskite is broader than that of lead halide perovskite. This review can provide a valuable reference for the research of cesium halide perovskite in the future.
