Improving flowability and floodability of ultrafine powder smoke agent

Abstract: In order to improve the performance of nano-composite smoke agent, the study on improving flowability and floodability of the smoke agent has been carried out in this paper. By adding dispersant, the flowability and floodability of smoke agent are significantly improved and the flowability and floodability indexes increase with the increasing of dispersant content. The experimental results in smoke box reveal that the jamming performance of improved smoke agent to infrared light and laser light is obviously strengthened, and the effective jamming time lasts longer. Moreover, the dispersion effect and jamming performance have been tested in the field. The field results show that the smoke can be well dispersed in the air to form stable smoke aerosol and has a good jamming effect to visible light, infrared light and laser light.
