Abstract:In order to make the productivity calculation model of the vertical screw conveyor more in line with the actual situation, based on the analysis of single-point method, fine sand was used as the material for experiments to examine the influence of screw rotation speed, feeder rotation speed and the vertical conveying speed of fine sand on productivity. Based on the calculation model to calculate the filling rate of the material in the conveying pipe, and using the MATLAB to fit function, the quantitative relationship between the productivity and the screw rotation speed and the feeder rotation speed were obtained, and the correction of the productivity calculation model was completed in conjunction with the experimentally measured vertical conveying speed. The results show that the productivity increases with the increase of the screw rotation speed, and the increase rate gradually decrease, and increase linearly with the increase of the rotation speed of the feeder. The modified model can predict the productivity of vertical screw conveyors more accurate. The average calculation error is within 10%.
