Abstract:The minimum ignition temperature of dust cloud of two typical combustible dusts, the lycopodium powder and the flour, in condition of different particle size, were studied through the experiment using device for testing the minimum ignition temperature of dust cloud. The results show that the minimum ignition temperature of dust cloud of the two dusts increases with the increase of the particles size, but there is a turning point on the local scale where particle size is small, which is analyzed to conclude that the phenomenon is caused by the electrostatic adsorption of the small particles.
