Abstract:The impacts of number of beater and beater height change to yield, beater wear amount and disc wear amount of mill were investigated, using LNI-66A classify-impact mill to crush buffalo horn powder. The experimental results show that the powder yield decreases along with the increase of number of beater, first increases then decreases along with the increase of beater height. When the number of beater is 4 and the beater height is 30 mm, yield of powder is the highest. The beater wear amount decreases along with the increase of number of beater, first decreases then increases along with the increase of beater height.When the beater height is 30 mm, beater wear amount is the lowest. With the number of beater and beater height increase, the disc wear amount of mill has no change.
