Abstract:A series of micro-nanometer chromium green pigments were prepared by controlling the grinding technology with mechanical method of sand mill. The theoretical research on the useful power of the stirring mill was carried out based on pulverization theory. The working parameters of sand mill were determined as grinding media size, grinding time, speed and grinding media fill rate, and the L1644 orthogonal experiment was made. Then the effect factors on the particle sizes of pigments were analyzed by the changing rules, and the results showed that speed (6.26) > grinding time (3.68) > grinding media filling ratio (1.232) > grinding media size (0.96) . Chromium green pigments with particle size (D90) of 336 nm can be prepared by the optimized experimental parameters, such as speed (linear speed) of 3 000 r/min, grinding time (frequency) of 240 min, grinding media fill rate of 85% and grinding media size of 0.7 mm. The desired particle size pigment can be prepared by controlling the grinding time.
