Numerical Simulation and Optimized Design of Upper Taper Angle Parameter of Gas-Solid Two-phase Flow Double-layer Atomizer

Abstract:To research the effect of taper angle of upper auxiliary atomizer of gas-solid two-phase flow double-layer atomizer on the size of droplets after atomization and the stability of whole atomization process, based on a new plan of gas-solid two-phase flow double-layer atomizer, a threedimensional solid model of the atomizer was established by Solid Works software. The model was numerically simulated by Fluent software. The acting law of structural parameters and process parameters of double-layer atomizer on the flow field was discussed. The flow field characteristics of gas-solid two-phase flow double-layer atomizer with different taper angles of upper auxiliary atomizer were researched. The results show that the optimal taper angle of upper auxiliary atomizer is 40°.
