Internal characterization of carbon material's porous structure

Abstract:In order to characterize the porous structure of carbon material, upon the prepared sample cleaned, dried and sprayed on its surface, the electron microscopy was used to observe and obtain the porous structure for the surface of carbon material, and the characteristics of the porous structure of carbon material was quantified by MATLAB image processor and the theory of statistics. The result shows that the shape of porous structure of carbon material is round, oval and crescent. Such geometric parameters of the porous structure as the proposed radius for the pit of highly porous structure, it is be between 1~7 μm, the depth of the pit of the porous structure is in 1~5 μm and its area share is about 0.3 μm.
