Abstract:Combined with the characteristics of new static separators,based on turbulence models, discrete phase model and random orbit model of Flunet software, the numerical simulation of the internal air flow field, the trajectory of solid particles and the effect of graded were simulated. Through study of the performance of the separator, the results show that the pressure distribution is uniform at the inlet of separator, when air flow through the separator, the velocity of airflow increased and the pressure declined. The separation of pulverized coal is mainly composed of gravity classification and centrifugal classification.The separator has a very good classification effect on particle size for 50 to 150 μm of fine powder, and the comprehensive separation ratio of the separator is as high as 58.3%.
