Abstract:The particle characterization technique is an extremely important branch in two-phase flow measurement, which can be used to explore quite a few physical properties, such as size and concentration of particle in a continuous medium. With the dramatic development of relevant industrial areas in recent years,there are more and more attentions on particle characterization technique that is closely related to the chemical engineering,energy, power, material preparation, pharmaceuticals, as well as food industry. In this paper, the developments and applications situation of particle characterization using ultrasound spectroscopy are mainly reviewed and summarized, and then the current challenge and developmental prospects are presented as well。
