Discrete-element analysis of particles in transfer point system of non-power-drive dust suppression

Abstract:Based on the structure design of the new belt conveyor, EDEM simulation was used and a comprehensive analysis of a optimize structure was made which aimed at some important problems in the process of transportation. The simulation try to reduce dust generation from the source control,which not only realize transfer station of no power or micro power, but also break the limitation of traditional design and expand the product scope. The results show that the structure of the non-power-drive dust suppression transfer point has strong applicability, which can effectively solve the problems such as particle velocity, compacting, blocking material and wearing.
