Abstract: Iron nano-powders were recovered from the magnetic filter products of cold rolling mill through supersonic cleaning. Influence of different detergents and solid-liquid separation methods on the dispersion performance was discussed . Dispersion performance of the iron nanopowders was compared by experiment under different solid-liquid separation methods using surfactant F, oleic acid, polyvinylpyrrolidone or alkyl glycoside synergized with other ingredients such as TX-10, AEO-9, Na2SiO3, EDTA and n-butanol. The results show that the suitable detergents include polyvinylpyrrolidone with mass fraction of 0.6% or alkyl glycoside with mass fraction of 0.2%, TX-10 with mass fraction of 0.7%, AEO-9 with mass fraction of 0.5%, Na2SiO3 with mass fraction of 2%, EDTA with mass fraction of 0.1%, n-butanol with mass fraction of 0.1% and the other is deionized water. Centrifugal separation is adopted for solid-liquid separation.
