Abstract: By changing the speed of grinding equipment and mass of grinding media, the effect of kinetic energy of grinding media on permanent ferrite indicators was studied. The results show that the lower kinetic energy of grinding media can help to improve the particle size distribution of ferrite powders, and reduce the distortion of crystal grains. Higher magnetic properties and smaller shrinkage perpendicular to easy axis as well as magnetic density are thereby obtained. The full rate of the product appearance, size accuracy and sintering temperature zone width are improved. The ball diameter in production process should be graded in the range of 4.0~6.5 mm. The ball speed should be selected in the range of (20~26)/√D r/min, where D isthe diameter of ball mill.
