Abstract: Aiming at the national status of numerical simulation for flow field of non-metallic mineral processing equipments being in an initial stage of exploration and having few systematic studies, the progress of numerical simulation for flow field of non-metallic mineral processing equipments was summarized. The necessity, key technology, difficulty and development trend of numerical simulation in the research of numerical simulation for flow field of non-metallic mineral processing equipments were discussed. The future research emphasis for flow field numerical simulation of non-metallic mineral processing equipments was pointed to be strengthening the measurement of flow field for the purpose of simulated computation.
