Abstract: To solve the crushing problem of resource utilazation of waste printed circuit boards (WPCB), their mechanical characteristics were analyzed, and the differential crushing method was put forward. Based on the features of WPCB, the method of “Point to Line” was selected to conduct numerical simulation for fracture of WPCB. Minitab software was used to design the crushing experiment, some results were choosed to analyze the factors, then the second experiment was conducted combined with Dichotomy. The results show that the method of “Point to Line” is reliable, and the differential crushing method has a better crushing efficiency than the constant crushing method. Minitab is proved reliable on the design for crushing experiment of WPCB. The parameters for differential crushing is 50 Hz-25 Hz, and the crushing efficiency reaches 90.4%.
