Abstract: By comparing the physical properties of recycled aggregates prepared from different strength grades of concretes, the influences of different replacement ratios of recycled aggregates on workability, mechanical property and permeability of fresh concretes were studied according to the practical proportion of engineering. The results show that the physical properties of recycled aggregates are worse than those of natural aggregates. The higher the strength of the native concretes is, the better the properties of the recycled aggregates are. There is a good coordination among a higher replacement ratio of the recycled aggregates and a smaller slump and poor liquidity of the fresh concretes, and the good water retention and adhesiveness can be obtained. The mechanical strength and permeability resistance of concretes with the recycled aggregates are higher than those of native concretes.
