Abstract: To explore the influence factors of energy consumption of classifier rotors, the rotor rotational torque and rotational power formula of gas phase and gas -solid two phase flow were derived by theoretical analysis. The change trends of torque and power were concluded with the single factor variable of feed, air flow and rotational speed. To verify the correctness of the theoretical derivation, the change rules of torque and power with the single factor variable were analyzed by numerical simulation. The results show that the major influence factors of energy consumption of the classifier rotors are feed, air flow and rotational speed according to the rotor rotational torque and rotational power formula of gas phase and gas -solid two phase flow. The numerical simulation results match with the theoretical derivation.
