Abstract： Benzoate intercalated magnesium aluminum layered double hydroxides was prepared by the method of co-precipitation. The intercalated layered double hydroxides was calcined at the temperature of 800 ℃ . The structure and morphology of the prepared samples were analyzed by XRD, IR, TEM, SEM and EDS. The results show that completely curly oxide nano-tubes with mean length of about 10 μm and diameter of about 1 μm are obtained through the calcination process at the temperature of 800 ℃.
