Dehumidification Performance of New Metal Fiber Filters

Abstract:Taking stainless steel fibers with different diameters as filtration materials of metal fiber filters, the effect of thickness of filter layers on dehumidification performance of the metal fiber filters was analyzed. The results show that increasing the thickness of filter layers can effectively improve the efficiency of dehumidification. But when the thickness of fiber filters with diameter of 8 μm is more than 6 layers, the improvement of dehumidification efficiency is not obvious. The proportional error of the experimental results and results calculated by classical filtering mechanism model is less than 9% . The classical filtering mechanism model can be used to predict the dehumidification efficiency of new stainless steel fiber filters.
