Abstract: To study the preparation technology and property of TiO2 nano-particles doped with Fe3+, the quantity of Fe3+, acetic acid, nitric acid and calcination temperature were chosen to design the orthogonal experiment. TiO2 nano-particles doped with Fe3+ were prepared by sol-gel method. Raman speetra,XRD,TEM were used to characterize the samples. The results indicate that comparing with pure TiO2 nano-particles prepared by sol-gel method, X ray diffraction peak intensity of TiO2 nano-particles doped with Fe3+ decreases and the crystalline size decreases. Raman spectra has blue-shifting and broadening. Degradation rate of methyl orange solution show that the photocatalytic activity of TiO2 nano-particles doped with Fe3+ significantly increases.
