Effect of Different Flow Rates on Gas-Solid Two-phase Flow in Fluid Catalytic Cracking Gas Turbine

Abstract : The gas-solid two-phase flow characteristics in the fluid catalytic cracking gas turbine were simulated based on Euler-Lagrange model. The standard k-ε turbulence model of compressible gas was adopted. The effect of 2 different inlet gas flow rates on the fluid catalytic cracking gas turbine internal flow field and particle motion was analyzed. The results show that with the increase of flow rate, the static pressure, static temperature, molecular viscosity in blade runner and the air speed of blade outlet section tend to increase. The trajectory of the particles is inclined to move towards to the blade. The discrete phase model concentration on the blade occurs to increase. The area with the high deposition rate of the discrete phase model expands.
