Abstract: By measuring the conductivity and infrared spectrum of silane coupling agent KH-550 hydrolysate, the factors affecting the hydrolysis stability of silane coupling agent were researched. The results show that the best hydrolysis conditions for hydrolysis of silane coupling agent KH-550 are as follows. Ethanol and deionized water are used as the solvents， using a positive hydrolysis method. The mass ratio of KH -550, ethanol and water is 1∶144∶16, with the hydrolysis pH value of 2. The hydrolysis time is 20 min.
