Abstract: To evaluate the explosion hazard of wood dust cloud and ensure safety in production, Godbert -Greenwald furnace apparatus was used to study the influence of dust concentration, particle size and diffusing pressure on the minimum ignition temperature of wood powders. The experimental results show that the sensitive mass concentration of wood powders is 424 g/m3, the minimum ignition temperature at this concentration is 402 ℃ . When the dust particle size changes from 38 to 45 μm, the minimum ignition temperature increase from 474 to 541℃. When the dust mass is 100 mg, diffusing pressure changes from 20 to 50 kPa, the minimum ignition temperature increases from 402 to 440 ℃.
