Abstract:To explore a cheap and efficient method of synthesizing BaTiO3nano-particles, BaTiO3 nano-particles were synthesized by the microwave method taking TiCl4 and BaCl2 as main raw materials. The BaTiO3nano-particles were characterized by XRD, SEM, DRS, dielectric loss spectrum and TG -DTA. The results show that the synthesized BaTiO3nano-particles were pure cubic crystal phase with uniform particle size of about 90 nm and good dispersion. The BaTiO3 nano-particles show excellent dielectric properties with band gap of 3.4 eV. A part of cubic phase BaTiO3 are transformed into tetragonal structure after calcining at 1 000 ℃, so the synthesized BaTiO3 nano-particles show a good thermal stability.
