Abstract:To solve the problem that the oversize of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride resin particles leads to low adhesion and low degree of finish and low efficiency of cover, the twin-disc cutting mill was used for ultrafine grinding of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride resin. The effect of materials concentration, crushing times, gap between cutters and pill speed on particle size of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride resin was studied. The results show the best grinding conditions are that the mass fraction of the rein is 20%, cutting times is 4, motor speed is 2 000 r/min, and the gap between cutters is 0.5 mm. With the best grinding condition, the grinding process is stable. The median particles size d50 of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride decreases from 296 to 96 μm, which can meet the application requirements of coating.
