Abstract：Based on pneumatic conveying theory,the important conveying characteristics of air consumption and pipeline pressure loss in conveying process,materials states before and after conveying were studied by building the long distance quicklime pneumatic conveying experimental system.The results show that the applications of pneumatic conveying in long distance quicklime conveying are feasible.The high dust pollution problems in the iron and steel industry can be solved and the site environment is greatly improved.
