Abstract:Based on theoretical model of charging process suitable to be solved by Fluent software,charging process of calcium carbonate powders was simulated using the dispersed phase model.The effect of original size of particles and charging voltage on charge-to-mass ratio was achieved and discussed.The theoretical simulation was verified by experimental study.The results show that the simulated results are close to experimental values.
