Abstract:Highly crystallized SnO2 nanowires were prepared by flame spray pyrolysis approach,using SnCl4. 5H2O as tin source and chloroauric acid to catalyze the growth of SnO2 nanowires. The as-obtained SnO2 nanowires were characterized by XRD, TEM and SAED. The lattice distance and growth direction of SnO2 nanowires were studied and the nucleation growth mechanism of SnO2 nanowires was proposed. The results show that the tetragonal rutile SnO2 nanowires possess a diameter from 15 to 20 nm and a length of hundreds to thousands nanometers.
