Abstract:According to the microwave sintering process, the resonant cavity was designed.The microwave field structure of the compliance roller ring shape feature and the size of its resonant cavity were determined by analyzing the size of microwave cavity field distribution patterns and the impact of field strength. The influence of resonant cavity size on field distribution patterns was analyzed and the field strength was improved based on the simulation results of analyzing the cavity field structure by HFSS. The results show that the improved TE311 mode field cylindrical cavity can realize microwave sintering for the carbide roll ring with inner diameter of 100 mm, outer diameter of 190 mm and height of lower than 70 mm.
