Abstract:Based on the grinding process in the mill, 6 dimensions were deduced through the dimensional analysis from 9 selected variables. The mathematical models of grinding yield and energy consumption were established by analyzing the relationship between the decisive and non-decisive dimensions. The orthogonal experiment was conducted and its result was analyzed by using multiple linear regression to get the mathematical model. The results show that the correlation coefficient of the model is greater than 0.8. The grinding experiment is carried out for verification and the relative errors are around 15%.
