Abstract:To get biomass powders and maximize the production of biomass powders, the classify-impact mill was adopted to grind corn stove powders with the drying method. The effects of mounting means of hammers, feeding in mode, distance of orbit and hammers and flow of the system were discussed. The results show that the maximum yields of the corn stove powders is gotten when the hammers are mounted under the millstones. Comparing with the lower feeding mode, the production of the corn stove powders is improved 15.89% when it is the upper feeding mode. When the distance of orbit and hammers is between 5 to 7 mm, the pulverization efficiency is higher than that of between 3 to 5 mm. The yields of the corn stove increase with the decrease in flow of the system within the specific limits. The yield of the corn stove powders is 103.4 kg/h when the mean particle size of corn stove powders is 30 μm under the optimized conditions.
