Abstract
Square cyclone fulfills well the scaling up compact design of circulating fluidized bed boiler for its outstanding performance∙T he investigation of the changing laws of performanc of the separator with the changing of taper is carried out at ambient temperature in a test rig with separator cross section 700mm×700mm∙And the effect of taper on collection efficiency and resistant are determined in the investigation∙T he results show that the bigger taper is favor for the cut size without any increasing of critical size or resistant∙
