Change of Crystal Structure of Powdered Silica in Superfine Grinding Process

Abstract

Mecho-chemical action and change of crystal structure in the superfine grinding process of powdered silica were investigated in this paper.With the testing technology of particle size analysis,SEM,X-ray diffraction and DTA empolyed,the change of crystal structure of powdered silica in the superfine grinding process was analyzed,and the characteristic of process and coexisting shown in the same process was explained.Finally,the formation of facial amorphous layer was proved by the experiment of alkaline solution and watery solution.
