Abstract

The present status and major achievements of international atmospheric aerosol research were summarized in this paper. T he main fields of aerosol research in the future w ere discussed.Furthermore，the effects of aerosol on climate and environmental quality were focused on .T he main problems need to be solved，w hich includes dust aerosol and anthropogenic aerosol，were present.
