Abstract

Aerosols are very greatly in their ability to affect not only visibility and climate but also for health and quality of life.Recently aerosol pollution of atmosphere in great cities is further intensified day and day.T hen it is necessary to make a risk assessment on aerosol of some cities in China， so that air pollution should be controlled.T he follow ing tasks are assigned in this paper：（1） Fields and problems of risk assessment of aerosol，（2）Air pollution and respiratory diseases，（3） Atmosphere T SP in Chinese cities and diseases and evaluate adverse health of these aerosol particle in our country，（4） Components and characterize of T SP mass in Chinese cities on the basis of recent evaluation of available data-sets of elemental analysis，（5） Summary and suggestions about control of pollutants and protection from diseases.
