Abstract
Surface covering catalyst with different Cu: Zn:Al ratio and different structure
were prepared, such as CuO/Al2O3(CuO covered on nano- size paricles of Al2O3),CuO/ZnO,CuO-ZnO/Al2O3and CuO-Al2O3/ZnO.The influences of support material solubility,sol preparation and phase transfer procedure heatingtate of calcination on surface area of catalyst were studied.The results indicated that the phase transfer preparation technique of nano-sized particles,the protection ability of metalsurfactant to sol particle varied with the metal element, the larger the solubility of support material,the bigger the particle of product, the special preparation procedure of surface covering catalyst did not result in a decrease of product surface area. The optimal heating-rate of calcination was about 2C/min,and the optimal mole fraction of metal surfactant in total metal was about 0.25.
