Abstract

This paper describes and evaluates the techniques for simultaneous measurements of velocities, particle size and concentration in two- phase flows by means of a Laser- Doppler Velocimetry(LDV)of a Phase- Doppler Particle Analyzer(PDPA). The time series measurements of the particle size and velocity by a PDPA are also presented in order to analyze the local dynamic two- phase flow structrue.
