Gu Da Gu Yanfang Hu Liming

Abstract A new piocess of preparation of skin- colored ultrafine powder ZnO is reported in this paper by adding suitable amount of ammonium bicarbonate to basic zinc carbonate during its thermal decomposition. The ZnO product is characterized by the methods of chemical analysis, XRD,TEM,etc. The results indicate that the ZnO powder obtained by this process is skin- colored with spherical shape and ultrafine diameters. The powder can be used in the fields of cosmetics, medicines, pigments, etc.
