Study on the Fish-Hook effect in Air Classifiers

The Fish-hook effect in air classifiers is stucdied in theis paper. It is found that agglomeration is the main origin of the fish-hook effect. Based on the former model of air classifying process, a revised model is given to simvlate the fish- hook effect,and a theovretical formula is developed. Finally,it also analyses the factors which can affect the

shape of the fish-hook.
